Introduction

At The Shala Yoga in Norway, I was presented with an exciting challenge: to revamp their online program sales strategy, which had shown initial success but was experiencing a decline over time. This case study outlines my strategic approach to doubling their customer base and significantly boosting revenue in just four months.

The Challenge

The Shala Yoga had initially found success with Facebook ads, achieving an impressive ROI and drawing attention to their high-ticket programs. However, after six months, sales began to wane, and the team found themselves in a cycle of uncertainty regarding the future scalability of their offerings. The fluctuating sales figures signaled a need for a comprehensive review and overhaul of their existing digital marketing efforts.

Strategy and Execution

My objective was clear: to dissect what was working, eliminate inefficiencies, and amplify successful strategies. Here's how we achieved it:

  1. Full-Funnel Marketing Campaign: I developed and orchestrated a comprehensive marketing strategy that encompassed every stage of the customer journey. This included crafting targeted website landing pages, executing follow-up email campaigns, and deploying paid advertising across Facebook, Google, and YouTube to reach an international audience.
  2. Optimization for Maximum ROI: With a €5,000 monthly advertising budget at our disposal, I focused on creating an optimized 3-step advertising funnel. Through rigorous A/B testing and continuous refinement of our strategies, we not only improved the conversion rate from 0.9% to 1.5% but also ensured a minimum of 2x ROI net profit.
  3. Personalized Systems Implementation: Recognizing the unique challenges and opportunities of The Shala Yoga, I introduced customized systems for selling their courses directly. This approach was pivotal in streamlining their ads, lists, emails, funnels, and overall processes, leading to an exponential increase in student enrollment and revenue.

Results

Within four months, these strategies led to the addition of 127 new students to their high-ticket programs, translating to €189K in additional revenue. This marked a significant leap from approximately €13.5K a month to €47K a month—a 3.5x increase.
